Why I Started SheMoves Fitness:

I launched SMF (SheMovesFitness) because daily movement changed every aspect of my life. Initially, as a gym trainer, I believed that spending hours in the gym was the only way to see results. However, the first years of motherhood completely changed my mindset. Instead of committing to long sessions every other day, I switched to the concept that "every little matters" and incorporated daily short workouts. Soon, I noticed that even on the busiest days, just 10 minutes of movement made a significant change.

How My Fitness Journey Started:

My journey to fitness began in 2013 when, as a fresh graduate searching for myself, I moved to a new country. Though I had been into sports since childhood, I never considered it as a career. A friend from the gym suggested I take a Pilates course, seeing my natural affinity for sports. Eager for a sense of belonging in the new country, I promptly obtained my Mat Pilates Certification. It was during this time that I fell in love with the Pilates method, which taught me the foundations of correct breathing, mind-muscle connection, and body alignment—a knowledge I still use today.

However, I soon realized that Pilates alone wasn't bringing me the results I sought. In 2014, while working for Gold’s Gym, I discovered a passion for heavy weight lifting. I followed this passion, undergoing courses in weight training, including CrossFit and Gym Training. Despite teaching Pilates for at least 10 hours per week, I managed to incorporate three heavy lifting gym sessions, feeling amazing.

In 2017, after experiencing a miscarriage during my first pregnancy, I decided to make a change. I slowed down with lifting and delved into Female Fitness, enrolling in a Women’s Fitness Course to learn about training through every stage. This knowledge, combined with my passion for weight training, resulted in a smooth pregnancy and a straightforward postpartum recovery, all thanks to the training style I had developed over the years.

About SheMoves Fitness:

SheMoves Fitness is a training method that combines low-impact functional fitness with mobility-enhancing movements. The program revolves around three pillars:

No matter how much time or energy you have—whether it's 10, 15, or 30 minutes—you will find something in the workout library to take care of yourself. I value the connection I build with my club members, and the most important thing for me is to provide each and every one of you with the tools and practices to enhance and elevate all aspects of your life. Therefore, I am constantly trying to find the most suitable practices for you and improve your experience in the club.
