Omg Maryna!
About 6 years ago I had a rather difficult period in life, as a result of which I became extremely anxious, my sleep was affected, I lost a lot of weight, had panic attacks and the quality of my life went downhill pretty quickly. It lasted about 10 months, which is lucky, I know that some people get stuck in this perpetual cycle for much much longer, sometimes for good. I was so desperate to get out - I went to gym. I realised that when I work out I don't get dizzy. Since then I work out everyday and I am stronger and leaner than I have ever been. I found your profile about a year ago and purchased the program in August, because I realised that I need a new, different approach. I don't just want to workout and be strong, I want to know what I am doing and what I am training. Your exercises are a breath of fresh air. It's not about just the timer or a number of reps. It is about breathing properly, maintaining the form, knowing how to tune down a bit, if needed. It's like I am becoming more familiar with my own body and fluent in its language. And that's considering that i have done pretty well for it in the past years and also helped my mental health as a result! Amazing. Thank you so much. Kat
I did most of this workout but I keep getting groin discomfort when I try to do the bent knees up with shoulder press move half way through the workout. There’s something about having my knees facing one way and trying to come up in the middle that isn’t working for my body. Is there a variation that I can do instead?
Hi Emma!sorry to hear that, you can do this move either half way to the lunge or just skip the standing up part. its good that you're listening to your body, just to the part that feels good to you!
